Most active during their mating season in the summer, yellow jackets and wasps are very aggressive and will defend their colonies if they are threatened. They are both able to sting multiple times and the sting of a yellow jacket is especially painful. Unlike wasps and yellow jackets, honeybees are not a huge threat and will usually only sting if provoked. Hives and nests can be built in the ground, trees, or in buildings, and it is important to call an experienced pest control specialist when one is found. Each species is handled accordingly. We don’t kill honeybees, we relocate them.
